Here’s another of the many hands-on videos that are currently floating around on tech sites. This hands-on is of the impressive LG Optimus Pad, previously dubbed the LG G-Slate. The LG Optimus Pad’s major selling point is its ability to capture 3D HD video via its two 5-megapixel cameras situated at the back, complete with flash. This can then be linkup up and played back on a 3D HD TV through the HDMI or DLNA out. Another plus for the tablet would be its operating system – Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The OS offers smooth UI, multitasking and well… looks pretty darn great. It’s also currently the most customizable OS, and allows for customizing up to 5 different desktops via a plus button on the top of the screen. Tapping this plus button opens up 5 desktop windows, which you can then add apps and widgets galore to your preference. All this can be seen in the video after the break. The Optimus Pad is powered by the popular dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, and its 8.9-inch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 768. The tablet also has 1080p video playback and is rather quite light and thin! We’ve also got another hands-on video – thanks again to jkkmobile! Both video’s after the break.
