Toshiba’s 10-Inch Tablet May Be Called Antares

First introduced at the CES show earlier in the year, Toshiba’s 10.1-inch tablet has been vastly covered. With exposed specs and hands-on videos, one thing remained a mystery – its official name. Unfortunately, this remains a mystery. However the fellas from TabletGuide.nl did manage to dig up a possible resolution whilst playing around with the tablet at the MWC. Whilst checking the device’s settings, they discovered the potential name/possible model number, Antares – which could be either of the two. The demo device was also running Android 2.2 Froyo, but the tablet is stated to launch with 3.0 Honeycomb. Other specs of this tablet includes a NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 2 processor, a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800, a removable battery, USB and HDMI ports, a 2-megapixal front camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and a MicroSD card slot.
