Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Coming On Friday
Quite possibly Sony Ericsson’s most anticipated phone to date, the Xperia Play has received an official launch date of Friday, 11th February 2011. The date may seem inauspicious to some (note: we made a mistake and got the date’s mixed up – 11th, not 13th. Auspicious out of the window.), but within that lies a certain bang, a certain confidence – one that is altogether relieving for us, the consumer. While PSP emulation on an Android device seems like opening a can of worms into the world of hacking and piracy, there is little doubt that much effort will go into the securing and prevention of such nefarious activities. We can’t wait to see this phone in action on a video that isn’t a leak, that isn’t shot in some vacant parking lot of your local fast food chain.
