PlayBook Vs Streak 7 Vs iPad Vs Xoom
We’ve got some interesting comparison images that pits the BlakcBerry PlayBook, the Dell Streak 7, the Apple iPad and the Motorola Xoom up against each other in an array of stats, courtesy of dailymobile. The images show a comparison in connectivity with the 4 devices, as well as OS support, sensors, storage, camera, and video playback. From the comparisons, you pretty much suss out which of the four is the mac daddy, however, with all that technology crammed under one hood, the Xoom’s biggest flaw is its weight. It would be nice to see some of the other recent/upcoming tabs enter the ring – like the Galaxy Tab 2, Enspert E201 Identity, Topaz, the G-Slate and maybe even the ASrock tab. February.24 for the Xoom at $799.99 US.
The BIG catch about the Xoom is that according to the fine print, “To activate WiFi functionality on this device, a minimum of one month data subscription is required.”
Actually the Xoom supports 1080p for playback as the 720p is for recording.
At least there is reportedly a wifi only version coming in Q2.
