With Android 3.0 Honeycomb being the first version of Android that is optimized for tablets, you can expect many great features and function to go with the OS as it hits the streets. The Good fellas over at TechCrunch managed to spend some time with Motorola’s Xoom tablet – one of the first tablets to be running the latest OS. One such great honeycomb feature that was explored on the tablet was Movie Studio which is a video editor designed for tablets (and can be seen in action at around the half-way point in the video after the break). The app allows for video editing like you would do on professional video hardware which includes adding titles, transitions, digital effects and scrolling through the video time-line on a touch-circle much like you would on a physical dial. The Movie Studio app can also run on smaller screened devices that includes smartphones which goes to show that Honeycomb is designed not only for powerful devices, but rather tablets in general – large or small.
