LG G-Slate Coming In Q2 2011?
We already know a fair bit about the LG G-Slate, recently unveiled by T-Mobile and LG. It’s an 8.9-inch Android 3.0 Honeycomb tab. It’s powered by the dual A9-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, can capture 1080p HD 3D picture, comes with 32GB of internal storage, is capable of 720p HD video playback (not 1080? Surprising!). It’s essentially the first big-name tablet to feature 3D capability. It’s looking to be a beast. But when is it coming out? That’s the question on everybody’s minds. The photograph above of a leaked T-Mobile roadmap document quietly gives us a time frame of expected delivery: Q2 2011. Look forward to the G-Slate as early as March, according to a press release from LG… which is odd as March is Q1.
