HTC Desire HD Clone Nearly Indistinguishable
This HTC Desire HD clone certainly looks dressed for the part – it’s barely distinguishable from the HTC Desire HD non-clone, and from afar, a stolen glance would leave you still none the wiser. Where the cloned phone falls down, though, is in the typical area of power. While this Desire HD clone comes with Android 2.2 and what looks to be a non-standard UI, it is powered by the MTK6516 chipset, which means its woefully underpowered and you won’t be playing any 3D games on this. It’s got WiFi and GPS connectivity, but all in all you’re looking to pick up this phone only if you need it for very basic web functionality and if you take it easy on the power-usage. If you try and multitask on one of these, you’ll probably drive yourself mad. On the plus side, the HTC Desire HD clone packs a capacitive 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, so it’s sporting fairly nice hardware on the outside. It looks to have quite a bright screen and have the same button layout as the real HTC Desire HD. Not a bad clone. Comparison pictures after the break.
Which is which? You tell me.
