Dell To Make Windows 7 Tablet As Well As Android 10-Incher
Despite the lukewarm reception of the Dell Streak 7, Dell are marching onwards into tablet territory, with news coming of an upcoming Windows 7 tablet as well as a 10-inch Android tablet (will it be called the Streak 10?). Aside from these sparse details, not much is known about the upcoming Dell tablets – but there has been much speculation. The 10-inch Android tab could run Android 2.2 with the Stage UI overlay – but this would seem a somewhat unwise move considering that 3.0 Honeycomb is out and about – Dell would be better off staying with the curve rather than falling behind it. The Windows 7 tablet is apparently aimed at business users, and will feature cloud computing as well as workstation features (whatever that may include). It will likely be a 10-incher as well (consider hot, hot x86) and will likely house no less than a dual-core CPU.
