Aigo AigoPad N700 To Receive Hardware Upgrade?
The AigoPad N700 may be receiving a hardware update, which is always welcomed. It seems Aigo don’t want to fall behind the tech curve – their AigoPad N700 that we saw showcased at CES last year ran a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor clocked at 600MHz. Now, the 7-inch tablet may be getting a dual-core processor, which should help it out in multitasking as well as bring it more “up-to-date” in terms of tablet tech. Also rumoured is that the N700 will have a capacitive screen that will rival the iPad’s in look and feel – but we’re not entirely sold on that one. It’s not outside the realm of possibility, as Aigo do make some damn fine products, but citing the iPad as some kind of comparison point is par for the course. It was rumoured back at CES that the N700 would get an update to Android 2.2 from its default 2.1 – perhaps its this iteration that’s the one? Dimensions of the tab come in at 197 x 120 x 14mm (it’s fairly thin) and weighs roughly 380g.
