Xperia Arc Runs Android 2.4? But…
But there is no 2.4? With the fact that Gingerbread is now Android 2.3, and Hnoeycomb being 3.0, it was a strange observation for CES goers when they spotted the Xperia Arc’s Android version to be 2.4. According to the Sony Ericsson Product Blog, the Android figures spotted on the slim new phone showed up due to a misconfiguration and that everyone should not allow their panties to get into a twist (not their words exactly…). Whether this is a cover up or not, I think most people have moved on from Android 2.x and have buzzed-off towards the Honeycomb (pun intended).
