Video, Games, Phone (A Video Of Games Played On Phone) – The Xperia Play
Yup, there is now a video of a couple of games being played on the Xperia Play A.K.A, the PlayStation Phone. The yet-to-be-released Sony Ericsson device has cropped up before, but none to show its anticipated game handling skills with both Resident Evil 2 (Biohazard 2) and Rage Racer. Unfortuantely, we still have no evidence of its official and finalised gaming functionality, as the games being played on the Xperia Play in the video were in fact loaded up via ROM buddy – a third party Android app for running ROMs. Despite this, the games seem to run smoothly, and has made me want to re-play Resident Evil 2 all over again. With the phone being powerful enough to play PlayStation games, it could be up there with the iPhone, Sony PSP and PSPgo.
