Socool Rises to the Occasion – Again!

socool-x5-c1

Socool have done it again! They’ve stepped up to the occasion, risen to the plate, and provided us with another babe-out, hot on the heels of their more recent X5-C babe-out which was a very cool one. The X5-C MID is again the subject of much babing (this is verbing nouns, a common practice in modern English), except this time it’s a bit more casual, perhaps depicting a more realistic usage of the MID when on-the-go. To add something resembling substance to this post, let’s take a look at the specs of the X5-C before moving onto the babe in blue. The X5-C runs on Android, can do up to 720p HD video decoding and comes with a built-in GPS module. At 5-inches, it makes quite the portable MID and, to be honest, we’re surprised we haven’t seen more devices in this size range with WiFi connectivity. Right, enough chit chat, let’s get down to business.

What chip and Android version does this use?

  2. HS says:

    Hello James,

If this source is correct, it runs Android 1.5 and runs on the RK2808 chip.

So basically much like the Rocktab, not that it is a bad device or anything.

  4. HS says:

Well similar specs, yes, but unlikely to have the refined UI of the RockTab.
