MSI Windpad 100W Less Than Impressive?
The recent MSI launch in Taipei of the Windpad 100w 10-inch Windows 7 tablet was hotly anticipated – after all, with Windows 7 tablets so few and far between amongst the sea of Android slates, it’s always our hope that one comes out and impresses. Unfortunately, though, the Windpad 100W failed to do that as the hands-on video by Netbooknews who attended the event stresses. It seems that the Windpad has some issues… but find out for yourself by watching the video (hint: there are some touchscreen sensitivity problems). To refresh your memory, the Windpad 100w is powered by the Intel Atom Z530 CPU, runs Windows 7, has a multitouch display, a 32GB SSD with support for 3G via SIM slot, an accelerometer HDMI and webcam as well as front-facing camera. It certainly sounds impressive. Hopefully MSI continue to develop and support the tab to help iron out the creases.
