iToos With Their Own Cortex A8 Tablet Offering

itoos-i7

Itoo’s have announced their i7, a 7-inch tablet running on Android 2.2 and powered by the ARM Cortex A8-based Samsung S5PV210 chip clocked at 1GHz with a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processor on the SoC. The specs themselves are quite impressive. The i7 will also launch with 512MB DDR2 RAM and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Support for 3G dongles via USB HOST, as well as an accelerometer and 1080p video HD playback round out what we know of the tablet now, and it is far from unimpressive. More and more low-cost pads in the Chinese market are being powered by the S5PV210 A8 processor – we’re eager to see what itoos manages to do with it.
