Winpad P100 Windows 7 Tablet Looks Generic
The generic shell of this Windows 7 tablet, the P100 by Winpad, is enough to scare anyone away. We should all be wary of generic shells. That being said, though, Windows 7 tablets are largely unavailable in the tablet market, with only few of the many “released” actually being findable. You could cite demand and, realistically, a Windows 7 tablet probably isn’t all that one imagines it could be. Onto specs: this Winpad P100 is a 10.1-inch tablet (1024×600) powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor clocked at 1.66Ghz, to go along with 1GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB SSD. It weighs in at roughly 900g and has WiFi connectivity. Not out there, but quite solid. No word yet on whether it is a capacitive or resistive display.

“We should all be wary of generic shells” can you explain this means?

Generic shells can sometimes indicate less than stellar build quality. We’ve seen it before in the myriad APAD variants.
