TMSON M6 Another 768p Player
TMSON are releasing a 768p player, the M6, which by it’s HD capability quote indicates it’s using the Sochip SC8600 chip, or some renamed variant of, such as the Boxchip F16. The 5-inch player comes with both a touch screen and buttons to operate navigation, making it a touch+button player which are becoming more popular (as well they should) in recent times. The 5-inch screen sports a resolution of 800×480, and the 768p capability indicates it can playback videos of up to 1366×768 resolution, which gives it the slight edge over the prototypical 720p player. The M6 will support the standard array of video file formats including MKV, AVI, RMVB, MPG, MP4, VOB etc., has MicroSD card expansion and, generally, is a solid if underwhelming player.
