Tablet Big Names Now Using Tegra 2

The NVIDIA Tegra 2 processing chip – a powerhouse, housing dual Cortex A9 cores allowing for tremendous power, not to mention the SoC providing high level 3D and video acceleration – is now being adopted by major tablet making companies for their upcoming tablets and smartphones for 2011. To name a few of the big names, we’ve got Acer, Toshiba, Samsung, Asus and more that will be – and have been – working closely with NVIDIA. With quite a few devices already being powered by this Herculean SoC solution, such as the Notion Ink Adam, some speculate that at least 50% of all ARM-based tablets will also be using Tegra 2 by next year.
