Playstation Phone W/ Playstation App – On Video

playstation-phone-app

The Sony PlayStation phone has been on rumour status for a while now – not any longer as we now have video proof of the existence of the device. The first video shows it’s slide-out keypad, it’s touch screen capabilities as well as what the device looks like in general. It would seem like the phone would be bulgy in the pocket, however, it does look like a pretty decent gaming console – I guess compromise will be the key factor in deciding upon purchase here. The PlayStation Phone also seems to come with a PlayStation app that allows for organising one’s games into folders such as ‘Recently Played’ and ‘Recently Added’ – which can been seen in the short second video.  Apparently due to be announced later this month, as well as codenamed ‘Zues’, we’ll see whether this device will be taking the mobile gaming world over or not. I will be waiting for the X-Box phone however – that’s right, I’m an X-Boxer and fisty cuff any one who opposes on the matter! (Not really, violence should be left for inside the consoles). Both video’s can be found after the break.

  2. [...] Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play A.K.A the PlayStation Phone has recently been spotted being played with at McDonald’s and a parking lot – respectively. This on-the-go, play-as-you-eat, play-as-you…have-just-parked-your-car device is doing some pretty hardcore viral marketing. Forget Sony Ericsson’s top secret testing lair, they’ve opted for a the average Joe’s playing ground to show people what life is really like if you own one. Unless of course those places are fake sets that have been set up at Sony Ericsson’s top secret testing lair. Watch the videos after the break. [...]
