MSI WindPad Tablet To Be Introduced At CES 2011

MSI have a already introduced two different tablets that have been branded WindPad. MSI have now come out with other WindPads that will be introduced at the 2011 International CES. The apparent release date for the new WindPad tabs will be early next year. We know not much on the new MSI lineup. What we do know is that one of them will have a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, and run Windows 7 Home Premium as it’s OS. This particular tablet will be among the first slates to use the Intel Atom Oak Trail platform which will vastly improve battery life over older Atom processing chips. The 10.1-inch tablet is said to measure less than an inch in depth and has a resolution of 1024 x 800 pixels. It also has a mini HDMI and USB port. There are also a few apparent specs for another MSI WindPad slate that is suppose to be powered by the powerful Tegra 2 chip. It’s also suppose to have a 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 800 pixel resolution. Its other specs are also supposed to be similar to that of the Windows 7 WindPad, except the fact that this one will run an Android OS – quite possibly Honeycomb (Android 3.0).
