Itoos I3 Officially Announced
The Itoos I3 has been officially announced in 8GB flavour. It certainly does look great, and the UI looks to be widget-based like we’ve seen on recent PMPs. It was widely rumoured that the I3 would be an MID, but it turns out it’s just another MP4 player – and that doesn’t take away from it. What it lacks in versatility and connectivity in today’s ever-connected world, it makes up for in sleek design and HD 1080p video playback. Coming in at a portable 5-inches (800×480), this touch + button operated player is one of the better looking ones we’ve seen and the 1080p video playback capability is more than enough to place this player firmly in the top echelon. HDMI output and OTG support round out the feature set, along with an infra red port for remote control, presumably. We’re not sure what processing chip it uses, whether Sochip, Telechips, or Amlogic, to name a few, but we’re sure we’ll find out soon.
