Hacked Nook Colour Runs Android 2.2.1
We’ve blogged about the recently hacked Barnes & Noble Nook Colour to be able to run traditional Android apps, now the messed around device has now beensorted to run Android 2.2.1. The Nook colour – a 1024 x 600 pixel LCD colour screen, 8–MHz processor device – now has all the features of a typical Android phone, including the phone icon – you can’t make any calls on the Nook Colour though. From e-book reader to tablet-like Android run device, who knows what people will do to it next – Nook Colour hackers, obviously.
