Gpad 802 & 803 Tablets
The GPad 701 has come up before in our previous blogs, however, in this particular blog, we talk about the Gpad 802 and 803. The Gpad 802 and 803 are 8-inch tablets, although the 803 is still apparently at its prototype stage. The 802 (pictured above) has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and uses the Telechips TCC8902 chip that’s based on the ARM11 architecture. It has 256MB of internal storage and supports 1080p HD video playback as well as 1080p HDMI output. Its OS is Android 2.1. As for the Gpad 803 – it has the same resolution as the 802, and both use a 4800mAh battery, but other specs for the 803 are yet to be announced. We do have an image of the 803 however, which can be found after the break. The image shows that its shell is quite different to the 802′s in colour, design and buttons. The 803 appears to have navigation keys, as well as what looks like your standard power/menu buttons. The significant difference between the two tabs is that the 803 has built-in 3G connectivity. Hopefully there will be more info on the latter tablet to come.
