Catching Up: Toshiba With The One-Two…Three?
We missed this a few days ago. Toshiba is supposedly readying a triple-whammy tablet showcase for CES2011, with Android, Windows 7 and Chrome OS rounding out the OSes. The tablet development is apparently being handled by the comapany’s smartphone department, which makes sense in a roundabout sort of way. As you’d expect, there’s been no concrete confirmation of any of the hardware specs, though there are rumours that one of the slates has an 11.6-inch screen while the other 2 will be bog-standard 10.1-inchers. This news broke shortly after the Folio 100 tablets by Toshiba were pulled from shelves in a move described as temporary.
