7-Inch MID-7AD – A Drop In The Ocean Of 7-Inch Tablets
The 7-inch MID-7AD is like most other 7-inch tablets that seem to be all the rave currently. This particular tablet is powered by the Telechips TCC8902 processing chip – which means it supports 1080p HD video playback and HDMI video output, which again, seem to be what the masses are wanting. The processing chip is clocked at 720MHz and the device has 256MB of RAM, as well as WIFI. It has 2GB of flash memory and supports up to 32GB of external memory. It’s 7-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and has all the common ports and jacks as most tablets do – headphone, miniUSB, etc. As for video files, it supports RMVB, AVI, WMV, MKV, MP4 and more. The device also supports word files such as excel, word etc. As for it’s OS – it runs Android 2.1. The stylus used in the video indicate that the screen is resistive, which is most likely as it’s coming out of China. The video also show’s that it runs pretty smoothly, and is definitely one to consider when browsing though the many (many!) 7-inch tablets to choose from. More images after the break.
