Nationite MIDware Firmware Update: 1029
A new firmware has been released, said to improve stability among other things. Also fixed is a working battery indicator, the processor has been clocked back to 800MHz, and most important it improves stability – a lot of ‘under-the-hood’ work has been done on this firmware by Wits.

[...] This supposedly powerful tablet – due to it’s Tegra 2 processing chip – has actually been reviewed as a bit of a let down (which can be seen in the video review). It’s main disappointment is due to it’s lack of access into the Android Marketplace as well as access to basic Google Maps and Google Talk. As for a brief on the Viewsonic G Tablet’s specs – It uses a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, has 512MB of double-density RAM (DDR), 16GB of internal memory and runs Android 2.2. It’s TFT LCD screen is 10.1-inches. Throw in the fact that it’s laggy, and you’ve got yourself back at square one with choosing which tablet to get for Christmas. A Galaxy Tab?
