Video: RK2818 In Mystery Archos Tablet?
The video above is of a mystery Archos 7 Home Tablet that appears to have RK2818, Rockchip’s new flagship chip that will run Android 2.1. It certainly appears that Android 2.1 is running and, in addition, we see streaming of a video off of QQLive service of a film. Impressed yet? Also, confused. The previous line of Archos 7 HT had RK2808, so this is a logical upgrade, but why has it been lost in the shuffle versus the mass Cortex-A8 lineup that was recently announced, featuring Android 2.2 and a TI OMAP3630 processor? Either way, check the video.
