Video: Archos 101 10.1-Inch Tablet
In the video above, Charbax of ARMdevices runs us through the recently announced Archos 101 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen Android-powered tablet. What can we say? It looks good. The Archos 101 looks to be competing on the iPad level, managing somehow to weigh 30% less while having 12% more screen surfaced area – an impressive feat indeed. The Archos 101 runs on a 1GHz Cortex ARm8-based CPU, presumably the Texus Instruments OMAP3630 that powers the rest of the newly announced Archos lineup. It’s all looking quite impressive, but with a price tag of $299, may be out of reach for some.
