Cube’s Latest: H700HDT
Cube are coming out with a new player, a 4.3-inch 768p capable PMP called the H700HDT. It’s a touchscreen PMP sporting the Sochip SC8600 AKA Boxchip F16 processor which means that it’ll do 768p (1366×768) playback of most video file formats. It’s got OTG, a PDF e-book reader as well as a widget system that has become popular with the likes of Cube and Window. It sports the same colour-crazy UI we’ve seen before and, while not bad, is certainly not for everyone. This seems like a rehash of what we’ve seen before and isn’t anything to get overly excited about. Another solid player in a massively available size range with a new, fun-for-the-moment widget-based UI.
