Teclast With C430T+
Teclast continue to release models with slight differentiation in names and performance. The latest offering, the C430T+, 4.3-inch (800×480) 1080p player powered by the Boxchip F16 also known as the Sochip SC9800. In previous iterations of players with this Sochip, 1080p video wasn’t supported but 768p was. Now, the Sochip SC8600 chip seems to have been optimised or tweaked to allow for that 1080p performance which is so crucial in the busy PMP market today. However, the 1080p label seems to come with a “catch”, specifically only being able to play 1080p videos in a specific encoding, while 768p for other encoding. File formats are extensive, including MKV, RMVB, AVI, FLV, VOB, MPG, MP4 etc.
