Teclast Android PMPs Official
Turns out Teclast are getting wet, with their upcoming players the C520i and the C430i being Rockchip Rk2816-based PMPs that run on the Android 1.5 OS. The former will be a 5-inch model while the latter a 4.3-inch model – both will have 800×480 resolutions. Beyond that, it is known that the RK2816 is similar to the RK2808 – video decoding capability will extend up to 720P and there will be HDMI output. It is not specifically stated if these will have WiFi or 3G, but it is at least fairly likely the former will be present, turning this PMP into a PMP/MID hybrid at the 5-inch and 4.3-inch sizes. This is, though, nothing new as companies like HOTT have already debuted their 5-inch PMP/MID crossovers.
