Nokia N8 Clone w/ Android 2.1: Running On RK2818?

izinn-cj-3-1

This is the iZiNN CJ-3, a Nokia N8 clone. What is remarkable about it is not only that it is running on Android 2.1 (making it a very up-to-date clone phone), but it is apparently powered by a Rockchip chip. It has been reported that it runs on an “RK28″ chip – but if it runs Android 2.1, surely it can’t be the RK2808 chip, the one we’ve seen in APads and other Android-based MIDs that all run Android 1.5 – that’s all the RK2808 can handle. If this clone phone really does run Android 2.1, perhaps it carries the much anticipated RK2818 chip, the one that is rumoured to be clocked at 1GHz and is Android 2.1/2.2 capable. Either way, we’ll just have to wait and see as most of the tech specs have not been unveiled. What other specs have been though are a 3.5 wvga capacitive touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, and a HDMI port.
