itoos M19HD Disassembled… Boxchip F15?
The itoos M19Hd as been disassembled over at imp3, and has uncovered a somewhat perplexing discovery: it’s housing the Boxchip F15 chip. The itoos M19HD, as previously reported, is a 768p capable player, which indicates it uses the Sochip SC8600 chip, which is also known as the Boxchip F16. However, this player houses the F15… are there any differences? It’s yet unknown, but one has to wonder at the seemingly arbitrary number change. Surely it couldn’t be a typo? Anyway, more M19HD internals including the unexpected Infineon DDR2 RAM after the break.
