HOTT With Telechips Tablet/MID: MD800
HOTT, makers of the MD500 and MD700 MIDs have a new addition to their mobile internet device lineup: the MD800. This 7-inch MID is based on the Telechips TCC8902 chip, which in a brief test we found to have great 1080p video decoding capability, but also poor browser speeds and Android implementation. This MD800 Telechips tablet/MID has HDMI-out, OTG capability; it also has a g-sensor (accelerometer), and runs on Android version 2.1. This is another addition to the recent flurry of Telechips TCC8902-based tablets/MIDs and doesn’t seem to offer anything out of the ordinary.
