Yet Another RK2808 Tablet
Yet another Android OS 1.5, Rockchip RK2808 powered tablet/MID is hitting the market, this time, though, it’s 10-inches large with a screen resolution of 1024×600. The specs are the same as the generic 7-inch versions we are all used to seeing by now: 600 or so MHz RK2808 chip, Google’s Android OS version 1.5, 128MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, WiFi, etc. The RK2808 means that this tablet will be able to “handle” 720p video files, but in our tests done a few months back Raz found the 720p video playback to be less than impressive. All in all, this is just another obsolete RK2808 generic Android tablet. Where in the world is RK2818? Perhaps lunching with Carmen Sandiego, who knows? With the Telechips TCC8902 chip starting to appear, though, the RK2818 had better come soon.
