XS039 – Phone Wielding 13 Speakers
What you see above has got to be a first for phones all over. It’s the XS039 (XTREME SUPER 039… not really) and it wields an impressive 13 speakers on its back – can you imagine the speaker phone on this thing? Half a block would hear your conversation. The usefulness of this is obviously extended toward those who like to play music on their phones without speakers (the scourge of public transport if you ask me). Spec-wise, the phone is fairly ordinary: a QVGA display, Bluetooth, dual-sim, a 3.2-megapixel (right…) camera and, of course, an MP3 player. Supposedly the phone is only exported to the middle east, though I don’t see why.
