Tainell 10-Inch Tablet Out Of China
Another one joins the fray. This tablet from Tainell features a 10-inch touchscreen, is powered by an Intel Atom Z series processor, packs an SSD for internal storage, is roughly 14mm thick and runs the Windows 7 OS. Also it is supposed to be able to have roughly 10 hours of video playback which seems optimistic at this point (and like marketing hype). That’s all that’s been reported at the moment from this 10-inch beast which is certainly looking grand. The powerful internals and Windows 7 OS means this tablet has the potential to expand its usefulness outside of casual web browsing but is sure to have a price reflective of that. This Tainell Windows 7 tablet joins a market saturated with tablets and MIDs, running Windows CE to Android to Windows 7. Let’s hope that sooner or later one of these begins to stand out apart from the crowd.
