Onda VX590Touch – 6-Inches
Onda are continuing to beef out the VX5xxTouch series of players (having just added the VX580Touch yesterday) with the VX590Touch, a 6-inch player sporting a screen resolution of 800×480. It is unknown if this player will be using the same Sochip that the recently announced VX580Touch will use (as given away by the “1280p” marketing line) because this player is being said only to be a 1080p player and WMV9 files are not listed in its file-format-compatibility chart which is another hallmark of the Sochip SC9800. Either way, this VX590Touch will come will all the standard features including composite/component TV-out (but no word on HDMI), subtitle configuration, continuous playback from breakpoint etc. Not a bad offering if you’re into the 6-inch size.
