E50 Colour E-Book Reader: More Than An E-Book Reader
Recently we’ve begun seeing e-readers with non e-ink screens, allowing them functionality far, far greater than an e-ink screen could ever provide. The E50, by company ShenXingZhe, is a 5-inch e-book reader that is also capable of 720p video playback. It supports a wide variety of video files including RM/RMVB, WMV, AVI, MP4, FLV, VOB etc. It also supports, of course, e-book formats of PDF, EPUB, PDB, RTF, MOBI etc. The E50 packs a 1900mAh battery that supposedly provides roughly 8 hours of reading life. All in all, a little more than an e-reader.
