Sinchun Saycool UMPC891 – Interesting Looking Tablet
This new Saycool addition, the UMPC891, will be running on Windows XP primarily, but it is supposed to be able to run on Windows 7 as well as Linxus oses, which is welcome flexibility, if a little superfluous. The tablet sports a resistive touchscreen 8.9-inches in size, packing 1024×600 resolution and has multi-touch support. The tablet is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, has 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 16GB SSD, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a sim card slot for 3G networking as well as a 2500mAh battery, a VGA port, 3 USB ports and a camera. Phew. It measures in at 25×16.8×2.13cm, and weighs roughly 1kg. Price and availability yet to filter through.
