Phecda P7 MID Running Android 2.1
Chinese manufacturer Phecda have unveiled one of their new Android MIDs/tablets, the P7, Telechips TCC8901 powered. The 7-inch resistive touchscreen (at 800×480 resolution) is backed by the aforementioned TCC8901 chip, 256MB ROM, 4GB on-board storage, a 1300mAh battery (slightly underwhelming). It has the capability to play 1080p videos, has an HDMI port. However, the real star of the feature list is the Android 2.1 OS, which is certainly something special as most Android-based MIDs and tablets coming out of the Chinese market run either Android 1.5 or 1.6. This machine is supposed to make its debut in October.
