HOTT 5-Inch MID MD500
HOTT are releasing the MD500, a 5-inch Android based MID hot on the heels of their MD700, the 7-inch variant. This 5-incher is powered by the Rockchip Rk2808 chip (and so is therefore capable of decoding up to 720p video) and runs on Android 1.5. The MD500 weighs in at approximately 190g and comes in capacities of 2GB to 16GB which is certainly quite a spread. All in all, this 5-inch device is another Rockchip based Android MID, but it comes in a smaller size than the usual 7-inchers we see. Not bad at all if you’re looking for a portable, on-the-go mobile internet device.
