Emerging and Popular Chipsets for Chinese Android Tablets/MIDs
The two most common chips found in Android tablets out of China are the Rockchip RK2808 and the VIA WM8505 – a company called Ingenics, however, is also going to make it to the scene with a chip that will rival the RK2808, may even be more powerful, but priced the same. Other rumours of upcoming chipsets include the Telechips TCC8901 as well as the Freescale MX (which might power Android 2.1).
