Cube B33HD Gets Upgraded

The Cube B33HD – a 3.6-inch player – has been upgraded from the Sochip SC8600 chipset (therefore allowing for 720p video playback) to the Sochip SC9800 chipset (allowing for 1080p video playback and apparently up to 1280p). This is a new addition to Cube’s lineup that in the initial testing phase as seen on iMP3, the player crashed many times which is disheartening but nothing a little firmware tweaking won’t fix. The new upgraded Cube B33HD should be filtering onto shelves soon replacing the older iteration, and there has been no word on price increases. Discuss this.
