There seems to be a lot of this tearing apart of players recently, and that is positively delightful. Seeing the innards of your player (when it’s not actually your player) is nothing short of interesting, intriguing and insightful. Today the folks at iMP3 broke down the Ainol V8000HDW, a 6-inch beast that was my first ever player review, so looking at its insides is something that provides me with a good dollop of satisfaction. More images after the break of course and some notes.

Here we can see the HDMI and USB ports. As you can see, Ainol does make quite good use of the size of the player – the PCB is relatively large and uncluttered.

For more images and a more thorough breakdown of the components in this player, be sure to read the full disassembly.
