HP Slate Discontinued
Apparently, the Windows 7-based tablet from HP which is Intel powered has been discontinued because it is simply “too power hungry”, apparently on the way to suffering the same fate as the LG GW990. Rumours have it that HP is now working on an Android based tablet – however, HP’s recent acquisition of Palm might suggest that a tablet featuring webOS or something similar could be a very real possibility.
