Ainol’s 4.3-Incher V5000HDB: “Touch + Button”
This Ainol 4.3-inch player is one in a new line from Ainol where the innovative UI design of “Touch + Button” is being marketed. That is, you will be able to navigate the UI by either touch-screen or button navigation design – the button design is used by other Ainol players such as the V8000HDW – presumably, the UI interface will interact touch-screen with the button navigation to provide more flexibility to navigation, though it wouldn’t be surprising if they were just offered as alternatives to eachother, both performing the same purpose. We hope this latter remark isn’t the case, as that would be superfluity at its best. Specs follow.
This Ainol 4.3-inch V5000HDB comes with the SC9800 Sochip, so you can expect excellent video playback quality, as was the case with the V8000HDW using the same chip. Following are the file formats supported, though this is all pretty similar across the board with any other player utilizing the Sochip SC9800.
- Native supports H.264 (BP / MP / HP), MPEG-2 (MP), MPEG-4 (SP / ASP) / XviD (SP / AP), VC-1 (SP / MP / AP), WMV9 (SP / MP / AP), MPEG-1, H.263, DivX (3.11/4/5/6), M-JPEG (B) encoding formats and can decode the following file formats: TS, AVI, MP4, MPG, MKV, DAT, VOB, WMV, ASF, PMP, RM, RMVB, MOV, M2V, QT, M2.
- HDMI 1.3 enabling 480 x 272, 720 x 480, 1024 x 576, 720p and 1080p as a number of different video sizes.
