Ainol V6000HDT – Samsung’s LTPS Screen
The Ainol V6000HDT, as many of you will know by now if you follow this sort of thing, is of a rather unique size and features a somewhat unique screen. This 4.8-inch player contains a Samsung LTPS panel (at a screen resolution of 800×480). Ok, so what’s the big deal? Well the screen is argued to be a notch above the rest – particularly in the viewing angles department, and the review over at iMP3 has photographs of this showing you the panel in angled glory.
Is this the Ainol that takes the cake? It also makes use of the Sochip SC9800 chip which has proven to be a workhorse in the video decoding arena. All things considered, this player looks pretty great.
