Ainol P810: 8 Inches of Full HD
Ainol are just workhorses aren’t they? Product after product, line after line, model after model, get vomited forth to the market, all duplicating similar features with aesthetics and size being the only differentiating aspects. This 8-inch beast is a little unexpected. 8 inches is huge, I’m sure I don’t have to tell most of you blokes that. Unexpected but welcomed, I suppose. This P810 player also uses the SC9800 Sochip, much like other players including the V8000HDW, so you can expect the same quality video playback. The P810 also appears to need a permanent PSP-like grip, as indicated by the navigation buttons which is a bit disappointing.
One thing which is on my mind is how this larger screen will affect battery life. It has to be a consideration for the engineers up on top.
