Bmorn BM-889 gets unboxed & reviewed

The good folks over at iMP3 have landed their hands on the new BM-889 from Bmorn. The BM-889 does have a 5.0″ (resistive) touch screen and is supposed to be running off the RK2806 processor, much like the RAmos touch screen players.

The BM-889 does seem to have a nice user interface, from what i know of similar RK2806 players, this interface is most likely flash based. It does seem to have a sort of cover flow that we saw on the RAmos T11RK. It is refreshing to see more players using a more attractive and interactive UI.
As the player does use the RK2806 chip, it will be able to play a wide variety of video formats, inluding MKV, AVI, RMVB and flv to name a few, it will be able to decode videos that are upto 1280×720 resolution. It will support your standard audio formats as well as OGG and FLAC for lossless.
