RAmos W7 Android PMP edges closer to release – New pictures and info

It seems we are coming closer and closer to the launch of the RAmos W7 Android PMP, new pictures have been released of the custom music, video and ebook apps as well as updates on the stability of the Android port to the RK2808 processor.

The pictures do show the new ebook and music app UI, both of which look very similar to what we see on normal Rockchip based PMP’s. Evidently Rockchip have ported over part of their normal player interface as standalone apps. I guess this is a good thing as Androids own media player is in someway lacking in features and no doubt the Rockchip video player will be able to support better video playback and many more video formats than what the standard android video player provides.

It also seems that net connectivity is now stable and that the W7 will also have a built in accelerometer, which is being used by the eBook reader for automatic rotation for reading.

I personally see the RSS reader being one of my more used apps on this device.
There is still no release date on the W7, but i think it will probably will be released soon after the Chinese New Year holidays are over. I am looking forward to getting my hands on this.
